She graduated from the Royal Academy Schools in 2010. She won the Jerwood Drawing Prize in 2005 and was shortlisted for the John Moores Prize 2014, winning the Visitors Choice Award.

Juliette’s work probes the notion of 'The Clearing' - where wilderness and chaos oppose civilization and order and where we feel at once safe and yet intensely vulnerable: her paintings combine rustic, urban and gothic imagery and result in provoking feelings as diverse as familiarity and threat, compulsion and alienation.
