Alice combines wood, collage paint and photography to contstruct abstract wall pieces and sculptural installations which deal with memory and identity. Often site-specific, the works truly inhabit the space and Wilson draws inspiration from a strong artistic tradition, bringing to mind the practice of artists such as Kurt Schwitters, Louise Nevelson and later Jasper Johns.
